Dr. Chernoff Presented Research and Clinical Outcomes at the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Annual Meeting, Orlando, FL Sept 18-20, 2014.
Dr. Greg Chernoff shared his clinical research and experience with adult stem cell stromal vascular fraction (SVF) in cosmetic other applications. His research focuses on delaying the aging process, improving skin quality, non-healing wounds, and other health benefits.
Dr. Chernoff served on a panel called: State of the Art in Fat and Stem Cells that discussed the role of platelet rich plasma (PRP) and adult stem cells in reconstructive surgery, cosmetic, and regenerative medicine. Additionally, Dr. Chernoff discussed new applications for micro-needling as a mechanism to transport stem cells and growth factors into the skin.
The American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS) is a National Medial Specialty Society of the American Medical Association (AMA). The meeting allows colleagues in the field of facial plastic surgery to collaborate new research and shape the future of this field.
