Dr. Chernoff Presents Clinical Research at the Multi-Specialty Cosmetic Surgery Conference
Dr. Chernoff presents clinical research for physician colleagues at the Multi-Specialty Cosmetic Surgery Conference.
Dr. Chernoff, one of the original investigators for laViv, shares his experiences with Plastic Surgeons and Dermatologists attending the annual Multispecialty Cosmetic Surgery Conference meeting in Las Vegas, June 2012.
Dr. Chernoff, one of the original investigators for laViv, shares case studies and photos including a patient case study from the original clinical trial who laViv results have lasted for 14-years. Dr. Chernoff explained the importance of injection technique as critical in the longevity of the treatment and results.
LaViv personalized cell therapy works by extracting and multiplying a person’s own collagen producing cells called fibroblasts, which are then injected into the patient to improve the appearance of smile lines. Other studied treatment areas include traumatic injury scars, burn scars, acne scars, and lost volume in the face and lips.
Using a patient’s own collagen-making cells is a natural and revolutionary way to help treat wrinkles, scars, and lost volume. Additionally, Fibroblasts are cells that play a critical role producing collagen so they are recognized by your body and do not trigger an immune response. The biological process works over time providing gradual, natural-looking and lasting results.
Dr. Chernoff treated and followed over 120 patients in the clinical trial. The results are published in CLINICS OF PLASTIC SURGERY.
