Radio Frequency (RF) is novel nonablative technology with a multitude of uses. Our research is currently testing new methods, treatment, and combinations of RF technology.
Radio Frequency differs from lasers in that it uses an electric current rather than a light source. RF is currently used to treat skin laxity, wrinkles, acne vulgaris and scarring, and cellulite. Our center is expanding the uses and treatment options for this technology.
Nerve Radiofrequency Ablation – For Frown Lines & Crow’s Feet
Our Indianapolis center is conducting studies on a new device that precisely locates a motor nerve and simultaneously interrupts the signal pathway of the nerve to the muscles that are controlled by that nerve.
This treatment uses Radio Frequency to target the signal pathway of frown lines and crow’s feet as an alternative to Botox and other neurotoxins.
Ultrasound, Radio Frequency, & Lymphatic Therapy – For Skin Tightening
A new system in phase III of the clinical trial. The system provides contouring and tightening for the face and body.
The technology uses multiple laser diodes heat the deeper layers of tissue, promoting collagen production and increasing blood flow to the area.
Ultrasound targets the fat and cellulite transmitting energy pulses through the skin. Suction massage improves lymphatic drainage, collagen production, and blood circulation.
