Special cases of patients born without external ears (Microtia) or badly deformed ears (Lop) can be effectively treated as well.
Patients can expect some swelling and bruising of the ears after the surgery which subsides within a few days along with mild discomfort. The swelling subsides within the first few days, and the bruising takes a few weeks. Significant pain is rare and medication can control any discomfort.
