Dr. Chernoffβs Minimally-Invasive Single Incision Endoscopic Brow Lift
Whether you're a candidate for non-surgical or surgical eyebrow solutions, you'll be saying goodbye to that tired look and hello to a brighter, refreshed forehead and eyes, thanks to Chernoff Cosmetic Surgery!
When your brows feel heavy and droopy, they can cast a shadow over your eyes, making you look tired or down. There are solutions to lift the brows back to a more youthful appearance.
What Is an Endoscopic Eyebrow Lift?
If your eyebrow droop is moderate-to-severe, then a brow lift (also called a forehead lift) is often the best option for surgical correction. In addition to raising the eyebrows for a more alert and youthful eye area, a brow lift also helps to smooth creases that develop across the forehead and soften frown lines that appear high across the bridge of the nose.
Additionally, with Dr. Chernoff's specialized technique, he can reposition eyebrows to achieve facial harmony and an aesthetically pleasing result.
The minimal single-incision endoscopic eyebrow liftΒ is a procedure developed by Dr. Chernoff, that repositions or lifts the eyebrows to improve a tired, sad, or angry appearance. Unlike most other surgeons, his Endoscopic technique allows the procedure to be performed using one small incision hidden behind the hairline.
The incision is so small that once healed, it is barely visible. Dr. Chernoff's technique is particularly helpful for men with receding hairlines and women with thin hair who prefer no sign of the eyebrow lift incision.
Dr. Chernoff was one of the first surgeons to perform the endoscopic eyebrow lift and has spent over 25 years perfecting and improving the procedure.
Does Dr. Chernoff Perform Other Types of Eyebrow (Forehead) Lifts?
Dr. Chernoff is trained to perform all types of Eyebrow Lifts: Endoscopic, Temporal, Hairline, Direct, and Open Eyebrow lifts. Dr. Chernoff prefers his Single Incision Endoscopic Brow Lift method compared to the other methods and can achieve superior results with his advanced and unique procedure.
Do All Surgeon's Perform a Single Incision Endoscopic Eyebrow Lifts?
Not all plastic surgeons are trained or equipped to perform traditional endoscopic eyebrow lifts, let alone the single incision approach pioneered by Dr. Chernoff. Dr. Chernoff was among the first to master the endoscopic technique and has dedicated decades to refining it.
Over time, he has perfected the single central incision method, which involves using an endoscope to release the brow's structures and reposition through a small incision, cleverly concealed one inch above the hairline. Dr. Chernoff employs an advanced suture technique that results in nearly invisible scars, making this procedure suitable for individuals with thin or no hair.

Preparing for Surgery
Prior to any surgical procedure, Dr. Chernoff recommends that all our patients read our "Patient Guide for Plastic Surgery". The guide explains important points that all patients should think about as they are considering a surgical procedure. Take a moment to watch the video below for a sneak peek into what you can anticipate when considering brow surgery
What Is the Recovery Process for a Brow Lift?
The recovery process varies from person to person, but most of Dr. Chernoffβs patients are surprised that their pain is relatively minimal. Immediately after your brow lift, your forehead will be sore and there can be some bruising and swelling for a few days. Cold compresses can help minimize swelling and reduce pain.
In the initial days following surgery, it's essential to take things easy and give your body the time it needs to heal. Dr. Chernoff's patients typically resume work within 4-10 days, depending on the nature of their job.
Following the procedure, you'll wear a small bandage on your forehead for several days, with a tiny incision behind the hairline that heals discreetly. It might take a couple of weeks before you can engage in strenuous activities like running or lifting heavy weights. Throughout your recovery journey, our nursing team provides continuous follow-up and careful monitoring until you're fully healed.

How Is Dr. Chernoff's Minimal Single Incision Surgical Endoscopic Eyebrow (forehead) Lift Performed?
Dr. Chernoff offers a specialized procedure known as the Minimally Invasive Single Incision Endoscopic Brow Lift, also referred to as a minimal incision forehead lift or simply a brow lift. This procedure aims to reposition or lift the entire eyebrows and forehead, effectively softening and refreshing a tired, sad, or angry appearance.
Unlike traditional, more invasive brow lift techniques, Dr. Chernoff utilizes a small endoscope with a camera attached to perform the surgery through a single, small incision hidden behind the hairline. This innovative approach ensures precision and safety.
Dr. Chernoff's endoscopic technique allows for a minimally invasive procedure, using only one small incision hidden discreetly behind the hairline. Following the surgery, the incision is meticulously closed to yield a virtually invisible scar.
This specialized brow lift is particularly suitable for men with no hair, as the incision can be concealed within a natural forehead crease, offering a seamless aesthetic outcome.
Does Dr. Chernoff Perform Other Procedures with an Endoscopic Eyebrow Lift?
Patients can achieve more facial enhancement with Upper and Lower Laser Eyelid lifts if they have excess eyelid skin, fat deposits, bags, or excess skin under the eye.
Dr. Chernoff combined Upper and Lower Eyelid surgery with his Endoscopic Eyebrow Lift to enhance the upper third of the face for this patient. Additionally, he performed a Deep Plane Face and Neck Lift to refine the jawline and neck area, providing a comprehensive rejuvenation.
Eyebrow Repositioning
For patients with naturally asymmetrical or unevenly positioned eyebrows, Dr. Chernoff will do his minimal single-incision endoscopic eyebrow repositioning procedure. In the case of the patient depicted below, Dr. Chernoff utilized this technique to achieve balance, symmetry, and an aesthetically pleasing eyebrow position.
Additionally, the patient underwent an upper laser eyelid lift to address excess skin and hooding on the upper eyelids. Dr. Chernoff also performed lower eyelid surgery, utilizing an internal incision technique to remove under-eye fat pads.
Lastly, the patient received multiple fractioned DOT CO2 Laser treatments in-office to stimulate collagen and elastin production, improve sun damage, and enhance overall skin quality.
Is There a Non-Surgical Procedure For an Eyebrow Lift?
Neurotoxins likeΒ BOTOX, Daxxify, or Xeomin can be injected into specific muscles that are responsible for raising the eyebrows. Relaxing the muscle helps open up the eye area and provide a well-rested, natural result lasting 3-6 months for Botox and Xeomin; Daxxify has been shown to last longer in some patients.
These treatments work well for patients who have a mild brow droop. When the droop is moderate or severe, injecting a neurotoxin can actually make the droop worse.
Neurotoxins are frequently used to smooth and soften the horizontal forehead lines (worry lines) as well as the vertical lines between the eyebrows.
